Hotel Crayon is opening soon in the Louvre area of Paris, a small funky and colorful hotel is an amazing location. Hotelchatter reports the hotel as a Greenwich Village casual style hotel and the images look nothing but funky. Per reports from the owners the rates will be around 150 EUR a night in a location that couldn’t get much better for that price. In an area of Paris that is starved for great new hotels the Crayon comes as a breath of fresh air. The furniture is restored vintage furniture with a touch of the 21st century, the colors are loud and blinding and the people are casual and friendly. Every room has its own color and the...
Hotel de l’Abbaye, blissful luxury

When you arrive in Saint Germain and try to check out some boutique’s you’ll be both pleasantly thrilled by the many great shops both large and small. For example Le Bon Marche, Tom Ford and lots, lots more. But you will also be slightly tired of the tiny sidewalks and the over-flow of people. Lugging around your bags full of “fragile” goodies can stress you out. That’s where Hotel de l’Abbaye is a refuge and a home-base you’ll be thanking yourself for having chosen. Prices are stable throughout the year, in fact this hotel doesn’t change their rates at all, so no chance of getting put in a...

Hotel Cadran is located just beside the Eiffel Tower in the luxury residential district that is the 7th arrondissement. The hotel is a modern boutique/design hotel that’s pretty comfortable and fun. Not afraid of giving you a great price the hotel is also good value (but don’t pin them on the word cheap because they’re not). It was renovated two years ago and is fresh and clean. The integrated Chocolate Bar gives the hotel a fun and sweet touch which is great. It’s nice to have something somewhat original in the hotel. It’s not a large hotel, well that’s the case for about 99% of the hotels in Paris, but...

Ora Ito is reportedly working on a Hotel in Paris that will be called Hotel O. The hotel is being produced by a company called Elegancia Hotels (the team behind those wicked hotels like Seven Hotel, The Five, Hidden Hotel and a few others). The hotel is in construction and only information about it is on it’s Facebook page and Hotel O’s website which is currently very little but reportedly it’s going to be located in the Louvre district which is a pretty great location. Now we ask, will this be the ultimate boutique hotel? I guess we’ll only be able to tell when it finally opens and we’ll get to see some real...
